Description

"Cuentan las malas lenguas,
que en lo alto de una montaña,
una dama vestida de blanco,
espera a su ser amado.

El frío atraviesa su cuerpo,
la lluvia acompaña a sus lágrimas,
y sus labios tristes y apenados,
se han borrado de su preciosa cara."

Carme Sanchis - `kamy-ska

"According to rumours,
on top of a mountain,
a lady dressed as a bride,
waiting for her loved one.

The cold through her body,
The rain came with her tears,
and her sad and sorrowful lips,
have been erased from her beautiful face."

You are onto something here, but there are a few things you could improve.

For starters you should find your own style and build upon it.

The amount of "undead girls" uploaded to dA is mind blowing, yet at least 90% of them are so generic that they usually pass unnoticed.
You have talent and its clear you want to create dark photomanips, but before you start creating something you should always have the appropriate mindset.
For example listening to a certain type of music can help you out allot.

Next il give you some tips on how to improve your "dark manipulation" skills.

1 - Find a certain subject that you think it suits you the most.
2 - "Dark" manips don't always have to be dark since the "dark" in this category is in my opinion mostly psychologically.
3 - Pay more attention on how light works, by improving you lighting skills you can give you manips more dept and a deeper sense of realism.
4 - The contrast between the dark areas and the bright areas can help you set the line between different points of interest.
5 - Don't just simply slap textures on top of something to make it look "grungy". By using texture properly you can accentuate your points of interest and make them look more realistic.

If you want more tips just ask.

As for the end result of this deviation is that it has a low level of originality and a high potential.

I hope you find my critique worthy of approval and i'm waiting to see some impressive manips <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/r/r…" width="15" height="18" alt=":blackrose:" title="Black Rose"/>
